I've been enjoying a fishy time in the workshop recently & it has made a welcome change from the sweet things (although I have been making a few flans too!)
Lobster has to be my favourite food of all time....just making this made my mouth water & I would have killed to have the real thing to eat!
Then there were the Moules Marinière....in prep &....
with crispy frites!
On the "sweet" side I've been having a fixation on flans!
A gooseberry flan.......
A plum flan........
& a peaches & cream flan!
OK, I think I've managed to keep you updated for the minute & hopefully it won't be so long before I pop in here this time!

Lobster has always been my favorite too. I can see why your mouth was watering when you made that beautiful platter. The Moules Marinière is another work of art. Perfectly wonderful small details all around it. I love the bottle on the side. As always, your deserts look delicious. BEAUTIFUL work!!!

Your work and composition of the elements is a JOY to behold! I was blown away by your mushrooms and now I have given my heart to your plum flan! The pastry twists are actually flakey and the plums are visible and yet they are rendered in the baking to look like they have really cooked down!? How did you do that!!!????
