French onion soup!

So much for Spring & the beginning of March...we are back to freezing night-time temperatures & although the days have been beautiful it's so cold out of the sun that I have been making myself one of my favourite, warming comfort foods.....French onion soup.......both 1:1 & 12th!

That little cheese grater made by Carol Lester actually works too! I'm still trying to make up my mind about which is best....a black background or a white one?

I do not like onion soup, I'm sorry, but your work makes me think that maybe I'm wrong, because I find it delicious. You did an amazing table. It's so real ... congratulations on a good work of art. Hugs

Love it! French Onion Soup is one of my favorite things, I think it's comfort food, too. You did a great job, it looks so delicious!

Let me know if you figure out what background is best, I wonder about that all the time, too. In this case I like the light background, it shows more detail of the miniature.

Smells good!!
A very great soup!!
I really prefer the white background, but with the black background looks like a baroque still life.

both photos are beautiful, but I think I prefer the white background slightly more than the other...

Me encanta la escena, es muy realista y no falta detalle. Yo personalmente prefiero la foto sobre fondo negro. Besos
