Whey Hey.....Finito!!

Commission work finished at last......before I go off to the sun of the UAE!
Handbag cakes, Coach & Chanel among them & Chocolate purses....I never thought I'd be sick of the sight of  chocolate......only in miniature...I still love the real thing... !!

Yet AGAIN I forgot to make the photos smaller...sorry!

Easter bunny nest basket!

Thankfully, when Easter arrives, I'll have escaped the grey misery of the North East of England & be enjoying the  fabulous blue, blue skies, gentle people & general delights of the UAE....YES! I'm off to visit my youngest in Al Ain for 10 glorious days! Wall to wall sunshine, mojitos & NO husband to look after!! Here's a little chocolate Easter bunny nestling in his "form" (a nest of grass!) surrounded by speckled candy eggs, foil covered eggs & daffodils in full bloom!

Have a wonderful Easter everybody & while I'm soaking up the rays & the mojitos I'll be thinking of you all!! :-))

Yet more chocolate!

This is a tiny dark chocolate,butterfly purse filled with a selection of mixed chocolate truffles. I think I've got the chocolate "bug" at the minute & everything I see, I picture in chocolate...maybe this will be the last chocolatey miniature for a while? :-))

Yet more sinfully luxurious chocolates...this time the leaf can be eaten too...yep, it's made out of chocolate. Just a shame it's not real! I think I must be nearly at the end of my mini chocolate making phase for now....or perhaps not! :-))

I didn't think it was possible to get sick of chocolate...believe me it is! Only when you have been sitting for hours & hours & hours...days even, making thousands of tiny chocolates!
After I had completed the commission for the chocolates, I had quite a few left over so this little pedestal with a selection of strawberry chocolates was born.
Now to find some REAL chocolate...I think I deserve it after making all those inedible ones! :-))

This little "UFO" has been loitering on my workbench since I made the basket on holiday in Al Ain last November...not bad eh? I only get to finish it on 1st March 2010...I think this has to be the longest "UFO" I've ever had on my workbench!!
