Anyway, this is the extravagant chocolate & soft fruit wedding cake that started it all! I'm really pleased with the way it's turned out & the photos just don't do it justice..one of these days I'm going to learn how to work my camera properly!! :-))
I'm not too sure that I'd like to have all that fresh fruit on my wedding cake but the chocolate flakes & dark chocolate shavings would definitely go down well!
Wow Linda that is completely amazing! I Love it! Sometimes it is worth the work for the results.

"Only the crumbliest Flake is Chocolate". Lin your cake is amazing and I'd definitely eat a slice if it was real. xxx
ReplyDeleteOh YUM!! Love the texture of the crumbly chocolate flakes! I tried to make a cake like that years ago and it took me forever as I made individual chocolate flakes, too too time consuming and thought there must be a simpler and easier way to get that look! You have found it, but sounds like it still took some time :p) Kate xx
ReplyDeleteIt's a work of art and it's wonderful and very yummy looking too!! :o))
